About the event

Quebec’s 100% Sailing Event

The sailing community in Québec is vibrant and thriving, with a new wave of sailors emerging across the province.

This new generation is setting sail: young adults discovering sailing, families introducing their children to life on the water, and women confidently taking the helm. This momentum goes beyond the docks—its energy flows through organizations, businesses, and local initiatives. A fresh wind now moves through the sailing world, bringing diversity, creativity, and renewed energy while ensuring both the continuity and the evolution of Québec’s maritime culture.

Expo Rendez-Voile is an exhibition dedicated to sailing enthusiasts and service providers representing all sailing practices in Québec. Born from the desire to create a space that truly reflects the spirit of Québec’s sailing community, Rendez-Voile promotes a human, collaborative, and accessible approach. The event encourages connections, the sharing of experiences, and the transmission of knowledge between generations of sailors.

Produced by Voile Communautaire, Expo Rendez-Voile is part of a broader vision: to contribute to the sustainable and structured development of sailing in Québec by bringing together the key players of the maritime sector around a shared objective—celebrating and promoting maritime culture and sailing.

The mission of Expo Rendez-Voile is to bring together Québec’s sailing ecosystem in order to promote, share knowledge, and support the development of sailing.

Through this event, we aim to:

Promote accessibility to boating and support initiatives that allow more people to discover sailing.

Create a meeting and collaboration space for Québec’s sailing community.

Encourage the sharing of knowledge and experiences between sailors, professionals, and new generations.

Showcase sailing as a lifestyle, a sport, an adventure, and a tool for personal development.

An Initiative Driven by a Community

Expo Rendez-Voile is much more than an event: it is a meeting point for Québec’s sailing community and a platform to imagine and build the future of sailing together.

The event is led by Voile Communautaire and its founder Bianka Beaudry-Julien, a committed entrepreneur who has been working for several years to connect sailors, encourage the sharing of nautical knowledge, and make sailing more accessible throughout Québec. Through Expo Rendez-Voile, she aims to create a true gathering hub for the sailing community, where enthusiasts, professionals, organizations, and new generations can come together around a shared passion.

Around her, a talented team actively contributes to the development of the project and the construction of its identity. Thibaud Lescuyer – Électricité Marine contributes to the web development and the digital structure of the project. Max Ménard and Anny Riverin support the digital development, while Christine Joanis oversees administrative coordination.

Expo Rendez-Voile can also rely on a network of ambassadors from the nautical community who help promote the event and mobilize the community, notably Tristan Boudreau, Sébastien Villeneuve, and Éric Tremblay.

A Social Commitment

Expo Rendez-Voile also stands out for its social commitment. Thanks to the Club April Marine, the profits generated from the sale of popcorn bags will be donated to Croisière des Alizés, an organization that, through sailing, supports girls and women in their recovery from eating disorders or in developing greater self-esteem and a healthier relationship with their bodies.

This initiative reflects Rendez-Voile’s commitment to actively contributing to the next generation and to greater inclusion within the maritime community.
